If your antenna has been working and suddenly stops OR if you have run the channel scan and verified the number of stations you should be getting, please try the “amplifier test” under "Amplifier & Accessories in the section above.
Some of our Mohu antenna models come with a Jolt Switch amplifier. If the amplifier is faulty it can interfere with TV reception. If reception has been fine for a while and then suddenly reception becomes "choppy" or “glitchy”, then there is most likely an issue with the amplifier and you should run an amplifier test.
- First, try removing the amplifier: Sometimes the amplifier can be the issue. To test the amplifier, simply remove it completely from the setup (do not just unplug the amplifier, remove it altogether).
- Do another channel scan with the amplifier in the off position. If you get better reception or more TV stations with the amplifier off, then the amplifier is the issue and it should be replaced.
- If you are within the antennas 1-year warranty period with your antenna, please submit an email to support@gomohu.com or call us at 877-825-5572. It generally takes 7 - 10 business days for a replacement amplifier to be delivered.
- If you are outside of the antennas 1-year warranty period, you can order a replacement amplifier for your antenna.
Antenna and Antenna Accessory Warranty: Mohu warrants our antennas against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. During this period, the products will be replaced or repaired at no charge. This warranty does not cover damage due to acts of nature, commercial use, accident, misuse, abuse, or negligence. This warranty is valid only in the USA.
